Down By The River

In March the kids and I went to visit my mom.  While we were there we took many walks down to - what Nana referred to as - the "river".  I put river in quotes because it was just a dried up nesting ground for mosquitoes and bugs.  But we had a good time nonetheless.

We found these cool benches along the trail.  They were freshly stained which is why we're standing and not sitting.

Bella touched the wet bench and was not very happy her hands were dirty.

Bella and her walking stick.

Not sure what's happening here on the balancing log!

They kids loved showing off their precious finds.

Noah traveled in style.

Bella took a few goodies home.

Another cool bench.

Quincy came with us on our adventures.

If you look closely near Beau's arm you'll see the letter K inscribed in the bench.  We told the kids it was a special Kesterson bench.

Ever wonder what Joel does while we're away?  Well, here it is.  He plays snooker all night long.

Flour, Water and Food Coloring Paint

Sometimes Pinterest can be a total waste of time.  I found this recipe for "make your own paint" and decided to try it out.  The kids of course loved it, Noah ate it, but it was a bear to remove.  It required so much scrubbing all three kids ended up in tears.  Never again!

Doctors and More Doctors

In an effort to understand why Bella's speech isn't more advanced and why she's always sick, we are now running around from doctors office to doctors office.  We started by getting her adenoids x-rayed, then we had a hearing test done by an audiologist and met with an Ear Nose and Throat specialist (ENT).  It's been go, go go.  Bella's such a trooper.  She does whatever is asked of her and waits patiently in the waiting rooms.  After all the appts., we've discovered she has a slight hearing problem due to the pressure in her ears.  We scheduled a surgery to have her adenoids removed and we hope this will fix the pressure issues.  We have also been referred to a speech specialist.

Bella is always getting injured.  Falling and running into walls is her speciality.

Waiting is fun as long as she can play on my phone.

Lindsay's Bridal Weekend

My high school friend Lindsay is getting married.  She's the last of our 9 girlfriends to get hitched.  To celebrate her upcoming nuptials we headed to Pioneer for the weekend for some much needed lazy girl time.  We are so excited for your Linds and can't wait for your big day.

 What's a wedding without lingerie?!?

Who Has The Groom?

Erin Sherblon made us these amazing glasses for our girls weekend.

Three's a Crowd

Ever wonder how I fit 3 car seats in my car?  Here's how!!! I think I need a bigger car, or less car seats. How old until they don't need a car seat?  12?

Healthy Eating

As you know we struggle with Bella's eating.  Noah, on the other hand, is an amazing eater.  He loves broccoli, dislikes potatoes (mashed, fried, french fries, etc.).  He's our super eater.  Now that's he's 1 we tried peanut butter for the first time.  No problemo!

Nana made these PJ's for Noah!

Cheetos...not so healthy!

Bella's 3rd Birthday

March18th was Bella's actual birthday.  We were all a little partied out after the Candyland Party, so we laid low and had a little celebration at home.  Last year we had decorated her room with balloons and streamers and she loved it, so we did it again this year.  She wasn't very impressed this year, I think this may be the last time we decorate like this.

As of 3 Bella is really starting to come out of her shell.  She's very talkative, although she's still hard to understand.  She still has very bad eating habits and get's sick frequently, but we're hoping to have these issues addressed soon.  She's very loving and easily gives kisses to anyone willing to accept.  She is such a joy to have around.  Our little Bellies!

Gabby took Bella out for McDonalds and Shopping!

We'd had our fill of cake and candy, so we decided on cookies!

Bella's been practicing her smiles.  This one is her favorite.
