We spent the morning prepping for day. We filled balloons, each with a time (starting at 3:00 pm-ending at 9:00 pm). Each balloon had an activity inside. Once the kids found the correct balloon, we popped up and completed the activity. We had so much fun. It was one of the best NYE's we've ever had.

We created a balloon drop. It was much fun watching all the balloons came tumbling down at 9:00pm (kids midnight)
If you're ever curious about what happens in our house here's a video of how things usually go down. Bella & Kylie sing and dance, Beau, Joel and Jon play football and the rest of us enjoy the show. Note in this video at about 45 seconds, just as Bella ends her song "You've got a friend in me" she gets tackled by her BFF Kylie. Then later in "Spoonful of Sugar" Bella belts it out at 1 min 30 secs and it's followed up by some fabulous dance moves by Kylie.

Love the NYE balloon activity idea, how fun!!! And Miss Kylie is a pretty awesome dancer... she must watch lots of ballet and princessy waltzing and dancing around! :)
