6 Months

Our little bugger has been in our lives for 1/2 a year. CRAZY! Well, actually he's been in my life for 15 months, but the last 6 months has been a lot more fun. Now I don't waddle around when I carry him.

As of 6 months he's a sturdy sitter and eating solids has become a breeze. He's still a tiny peanut, only 15 lbs. Unlike his mother, he's just not a big eater. We work really hard at getting him to eat what he does eat. That said, he loves his veggies and hates is fruits. His favorites are yellow squash, sweet potatoes and carrots. Getting him to eat avocados, bananas and apple sauce is nearly impossible.

He's not crawling yet. He can get up on all fours, but has a problem projecting forward. But, he's getting pretty good at moving backwards. From what I hear, that's the first step in crawling.

Still no teeth, although we have tons of drooling, ferociously rubbing of the gums, crying and at times slight fever. We'll see what this next months brings.
