Bella's 2 Months

Our baby girl is 2 months...

As of 2 months Bella weighs 12 lbs, 2 oz, 21 inches (as compared to Beau's 11 lbs, 8 oz, 22 inches). She's gaining weight, and growing stronger and stronger each day. She's been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks (9 pm to 6 am). Awe sweet relief for mama. And she can roll over from her tummy to her back. I have a video but she's crying in it so I thought it best not to post and I don't want certain people getting upset at us for allowing our baby to cry for more than a nanosecond. :)

For those of you that met her she makes this weird gasping / choking noises. As per my doc's instructions, we saw a Ear Nose and Throat Specialist. She's been diagnosed with Laryngomalacia of the Arytenoid Cartilages aka a floppy airway. As she grows the cartilage will grow stronger and the problem (noise) will go away. We also took x-rays on her trachea and everything looks good. So...no worries Nana and Aunt Mary, she's A-Ok!

Micky's Grove Zoo

Gabby and Popo were babysitting the Arrighi kids a few weekends ago and they were all headed to the zoo, so Joel, Beau, Bella and I decided to crash the party. The kids had a blast running all over the zoo. I think seeing the ducks may have been Beau's favorite part. Well maybe it's a tie between the ducks and monkeys.

Penner's Slide

Jenny and Ava were in town, so we went to Lodi to the Penner's house for a play date. I wasn't very diligent about taking pictures, which is why I don't have any of the other kids. But I was able to capture a picture of Beau at the top of the slide. He had so much fun climbing the ladder and sliding down...with a little bounce once he reached the bottom. Too bad I don't have video, it's pretty funny to see.

He Had To Go Baafroom

About a month ago we bought Beau a potty. We aren't really actively trying to potty train him, but we are trying to get him familiar with the potty. He loves his potty. Whenever we change his diaper we allow him to try to go potty on the potty. Most of the time he'll go pee. These pictures were taken right after he got out of the bath and he sat on the potty and peed. Success!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day we all went over to my grandmother's house to visit. Bella spent most the time sleeping in Grandma-ma and Nana's arms while Beau played with Cousin Mattie.

Beau sat on the pony (yes, that's my mom and her great dane in the background) and held a kitten (although it's hidden in his hands).

He was also enamored with cousin Danny's guitar and wanted in on the action.

Greenhorn Pictures

While we were at Greenhorn Creek, Jamie (Jamie Bearg Photography) took some pictures of us. Beau wasn't really in a smilie mood and Bella thought she'd take this opportunity to show off her tongue. Luckily Jamie's good and was able to capture a few good pics. We're not an easy family to photograph. Here are a few (well... a lot) of our favorites.

Beargie's Greenhorn Birthday

Every year for Brian's birthday we all head up to Greenhorn Creek in Angels Camp. Brian, Bob, Joel and Mark golf during the day and we faithful wives drive up in the afternoon. This year Jamie and Hayden joined us. We had a blast visiting and eating lots of food.

Beau even headed out to the golf course to hit a few balls.

Bella slept on the floor in a makeshift bed. Hey... don't judge, it worked.

Rock-A-Bye Baby

Beau loves to rock. Here is a video of Beau and Bella rocking and singing with Mama. Don't mind our vocals, we're not professionals. :)

I think it's so funny the way Beau claps and pushes off of Bella when the song ends. Enjoy

Rachel & Matt's Wedding

A few weeks ago Joel, Bella and I headed to Aptos for my cousin Rachel's wedding. It was a small wedding, with only family, at the Seascape Resort. We took this opportunity to take a few pictures with the family.

Who Says I Have To Wear A Seatbelt?

When we drive down the .75 mile driveway from our house to Popo and Gabby's house Beau usually sits on our lap (or on the center console in Joel's truck) and points at the cows and horses. This particular day, he sat (and stood) in backseat and read his books. Our motto is fun before safety. We will babysit your kiddos anytime. :)

Fun at Funworks

Owen had his 6th birthday at Funworks. I was so bummed when my camera battery decided to die, but I was able to get a few pictures on my phone. Beau was hyped up and so excited to play all the games. Good thing we had lots of tokens.
