Beau received his first hair cut (by someone other than me or my cousin) this month. Although he wasn't really comfortable with the situation, he did really well and didn't cry at all. Of course he had to sit on my lap and eat gold fish the entire time. He makes me so proud.
It's hard to believe 1 month has already passed by. Our little lady is growing fast and changing daily. As of 1 month, she's was weighing around 9 lbs and eating well. Her head is growing strong and she smiles all day long. Beau is beginning to warm up to her and enjoys singing her name. Belle-lalalala.
Little Mia's not so little anymore. She turned 1 this month. Jenny and Joey had a ladybug party for her. Their cousin Kimi made the most amazing ladybug cupcakes. And they were funfetti. Yum. My favorite. Mia had her very own, sugar free cupcake that Jenny made from scratch. At one point, Mia got so excited, she even made her silly face. Fun party.
For the championship game we all headed to Gabby and Popo's bar to watch the game. Beau spent his time on the snooker table pushing the balls around. Which by the way, is his favorite thing to do at Gabby and Popo's house. Now when he comes home, he gets a ball and his drum stick and lays down on the kitchen floor and pretends he's playing pool. So funny.
Easter Sunday, Bella made her debut at church and I forgot to take pictures of her. Oops sorry. After church we headed to Gram's house for dinner, ping pong and the easter bunny.
The ping pong tournament was a nail biter, but unfortunately Dave and I lost to Joel and Aunt Susie.
The easter bunny showed up to take pictures with the kids. Beau was stand-offish when Joel was holding him, but when he really lost his cool when the easter bunny held him on his lap. Joel even gave the easter bunny a big hug in hopes to show Beau he was a friendly bunny.
Beau and Kate had their own special easter egg hunt in Gram's living room. Of course the older kids helped out.
A few weeks ago, we ventured out of the house to watch Cousin Owen and Cousin Ethan compete against each other on opening day. Since they don't declare a winner, both Ethan and Owen won. But the real winners were Beau and Kate who found balloons.
During the first few weeks after Bella was born we were blessed with help from family and friends. One night my family and I went through Beau's clothes testing to see what still fits. Here's a picture of him showing off his summer PJ bottoms.
Beau, Bella and I took a little walk down to the shop to visit Joel and Uncle Mark. While we were there Beau enjoyed some private time in the tractor and sat on a new seat (yet to be installed) watching the guys work.
Jon and Whitney sent us these two pictures of Kylie and I couldn't help but share. She's such a cutie. Unfortunately she's been pretty sick and is back at Stanford. I don't know much about her current condition, but from what I understand she's having trouble getting her oxygen levels up. So, needless to say, please keep her in your prayers. I'm sure Jon and Whitney are wanting to get their baby girl back home.
