Annual Noma Golf Tourney

Over the 4th of July weekend, the Noma family had their 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at their home in Pioneer. While the guys golfed, the kids and I hung back at the house. The house sits on the 14th hole, so we were able to see all the groups come by. Joel, the kids and I spent the night after the tournament and had a nice visit with the Noma / Penner families.

June Love Bugs

Joel and I were able to go to Joel's cousin, Kayla's wedding in June. The wedding was held at a beautiful venue in Oakley. The happy couple's daughter Brooke was the flower girl and watching her participate in the ceremony was adorable.

Summer Fun at Grandpa's House

My dad bought Beau and Bella a slip and slide as well as a kiddie pool this summer. Beau's not a fan of the water, but he loved the slip and slide. As long as the water didn't hit him in the face. And Bella, we'll she's much more adventurous when it comes to the water.

One weekend in June, Aunt Mel and Grandpa were watching the kids and Toby overnight. The slip and slide wasn't even needed, they had Toby and his crate.

Summer Fun

Back in June, when all the working moms were off for the summer, we went to The Noma's for a swim day. As typical, Beau didn't get in, but we are making progress. Bella got in for a little bit, but was soon running around. It was fun to see all the kids play together.

Haircut and Shopping

Beau's curls can get a little out of control from time to time. Keeping them tame is a task in and of itself. One day while Joel was cutting his hair, Beau wanted his cut as well. So, we said why not. I think he looks so handsome with his buzz cut. Perfect for the summer.

While making a few returns to Old Navy in Stockton, we had to walk past the area with all these cars, trains, etc. Of course the kids just had to take a ride. Who can blame them. Trains are so fun.

Welcome Baby Quinn

On May 11, Joey and Jenny Penner welcomed their new daughter Quinn Kaida into their family.

Born at 1:23 pm. 8 lbs. 18 1/2 inches. New babies equals more parties. Hooray for baby showers. In continuing in our baby shower tradition, our high school girlfriends got together with our children and our moms to celebrate baby Quinn's arrival. We have 9 girlfriends in total and 9 babies so far (3 more are on the way). We're just one HUGE happy family.

Date Night

As you can see by the pictures below, our days are full of adventures on the ranch. So once a month Joel and I get away for a little adult time. In June, we headed to the drive-in movies, sat in the trunk of my car and enjoyed The Hangover II. It was a wonderful kid free night.
